DECIEM: The Ordinary Foundation Review♡

DECIEM: The Abnormal Beauty Company

Hey girls. So I recently discovered Deciem foundations and I've always wanted to try their foundations as it was cheap and affordable to buy, I also didn't want to keep using my Fenty foundation as it's almost finishing and well makeup is expensive to buy. I bought the ordinary foundation and to be honest it's actually really good, especially if you're looking for a foundation not too expensive and want to wear everyday. It does have a medium light coverage but if you build that up on your face you will get the coverage you'll need and believe me this is coming from a person who suffers a lot with breakouts and spots so the foundation does do the job.

You can find Deciem in Shoreditch, near the old Spitalfields market & the other store is on Bethnal Green Road near Shoreditch High Street station.

This foundation retails to the price at 5.95 - The shade I got matched to is 3.0 Y (Y for yellow undertone). There are other types so for example if you have red undertone then they have that too. With my face it's a yellow undertone, my T-zone is dry and my face is oily. However, I did notice that the colour they matched with me looked a bit dark as my sister and aunt got matched the same colour and in other foundations such as Fenty we are totally different colour shades so that's one disadvantage about that as the foundation oxidises and makes you look darker.

Top 3 lip products - NYX Lip Lingerie♡

Hey girls. If you follow me on Instagram you probably already know that I finally decided to change my blog/YouTube name. I've mentioned this in my last Q&A that I hated the name ohsnapitzaffy as I created that name when I was young and well I thought since I update my blog from time to time I might as well change it to something I'm more comfortable with. As you can tell by my title I've decided to name it Afs blogs, I find that so much better to work with and hopefully you'll see more upcoming stuff so make sure you do subscribe to my YouTube which is Afs blogs however you can still search ohsnapitzaffy and it'll still come up as I can't seem to change my domain name but I will fix that soon.

So with that out of the way let's jump right in to today's post. I am in love with the NYX lip lingerie products so I just had to buy 2 more of these (which I showed in my last mini haul post). I'm telling you guys these are like the best lip lingerie's I have ever bought, they're so matte and the colours are amazing and it's only £7.00 which is affordable.

The colours i'm in love with is Seduction, Exotic and Cabaret Show. These are defo my new fave and I would defo recommend them to you. The advantages of these matte lip glosses is that you don't need to worry about re-applying it every time. Would definitely be purchasing this again.

Don't forget to follow me on Instagram: afsblogs and also subscribe to the YouTube channel, will be uploading a new video soon.

Mini Make-up Haul♡

Hey girls, so today I'm going to be doing a mini makeup haul, makeup is so expensive like I literally bought 4 items and this cost around 30 pounds which hurts me to spend but girls gotta buy it. So, first of all, I went to NYX because if you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat then you'll know that I lost one of my favourite lipsticks by NYX so I had to purchase this again. It's the lip lingerie in the shade 'Seduction', this matte lipgloss is honestly so amazing. The colour of it is a pink/nudey shade and it's also matte so you wouldn't need to worry about re-applying every now and then which is a positive side about all matte products. I also bought another shade, 'Exotic', I haven't tried this on my lips yet but when I swatched this in store it looked like a colour that I would wear so I had to buy it. I'll defo keep you posted about how I feel about the shade when I do wear it.

Obviously had to restock on my concealer, this has to be the best concealer I have tried however I do want to try another concealer (this is for like pigmentations by the way) if you have any recommendations please tell me. I also bought a green corrector as I have a lot of redness on my face so this will help cancel out redness.

That will be all for my mini haul, hopefully, I will upload another haul on my YouTube so make sure you subscribe and watch out for it.

Benefits of Aloe Vera♡

Hey bloggers, I'm back with another post. So recently I have had a lot of breakouts, I've been experiencing these breakouts for a very long time now and I've literally tried everything but it seems to go away for a couple weeks and then come back again, I started searching online about good face masks for skin like mine and saw that a lot of people compliment Aloe Vera and oh my gosh guys this actually is so good for the skin! Since I have started using Aloe Vera for my face my skin seems a lot smoother and my spots have almost gone, obviously need to use it for couple weeks to actually tell you in-depth and to see a change however it does seem to give results quicker. Aloe vera is extensively used in beauty products and for other uses, over time aloe vera has seamlessly integrated itself into everything we use. But what makes this miracle plant so distinguishable?
Down below I have listed different ways to use aloe vera, this is my researched information and my own personal ways that I've been using it too.

Aloe Vera for Dry Skin -

- Take some aloe vera
- A pinch of turmeric
- A teaspoon of honey
- A teaspoon of milk
- Few drops of rose water
- Blend this mix together till you get a paste. Apply this to your face and leave in for about 20 minutes or so.

Aloe Vera Scrub -

- Half a cup of fresh aloe vera gel
- A cup of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
(The sugar will help exfoliate and scrub off dead skin, the aloe vera will deep clean the skin and the lemon will help fade out scars and tan. Stir the 3 ingredients together and use it to scrub both face and body).

Aloe Vera for Acne -

- Take some aloe vera gel
- Blended walnuts (with a flour-like consistency)
- Honey
(Aloe Vera's healing properties coupled with anti-oxidants from honey will leave you with smooth and clear skin).

Aloe Vera for Sensitive Skin -

- Aloe vera gel
- Cucumber juice
- Yoghurt
- Rose oil
(Blend them to a paste, apply and leave for around 20 minutes, then rinse it off).

Aloe Vera for Weight-Loss -

How to drink aloe vera juice: The natural taste of aloe vera is so bitter that you wouldn't think of consuming it. So to do this...
- Take the gel, dice it into small pieces and blend
- Mix a bit of this with some other fruit or vegetable juice that's preferably sweet.
- You can also use the leaves of aloe vera, blend them, strain and drink.
(If you find it too bitter then mix it up with honey and drink. You can also add some lemon to this mix.

Aloe Vera for Hairfall -

Aloe vera contains something called proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair. Aloe vera has a chemical make up similar to that of keratin and it rejuvenates the hair with its own nutrients, giving it more elasticity and preventing breakage. A good remedy would be to use aloe vera juice and extra virgin coconut oil. Apply this and leave it in for as long as possible for strong, smooth and bouncy hair.
So the question is how to use aloe vera for hair growth...? Well simple, a lot of these remedies involve using fresh aloe vera gel. You can extract your own gel by slicing an aloe vera leaf and scooping out the gel using a spoon.

Castor Oil and Aloe Vera for Hair Growth.
Castor oil is an excellent hair growth treatment that helps boost hair while also adding volume. The oil along with aloe vera helps stimulate hair regrowth and also curbs hair fall. This aloe vera treatment helps stimulate hair growth from the dormant hair follicles on your scalp. It also helps nourish and condition your hair strands, preventing breakage and split ends.

YOU WILL NEED:
 - 1 cup fresh aloe vera gel
- 2 tablespoons of castor oil
- 2 tablespoons of fenugreek powder
- Shower cap
- Towel

Process: (1) In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until you get a smooth and consistent paste. (2) Apply this mixture to your scalp and hair. Ensure that you're focusing most on your roots and tips. (3) Once your hair is fully covered in the mixture, cover it with a shower cap. (4) Go to bed with the mixture on. You may wrap a towel around the shower cap for added heat and to keep the shower cap from shifting. (5) In the morning, wash the mixture off with cool water and shampoo. Finish off with conditioner. You should do this 1-2 times a week for best results. You can also combine aloe vera with honey, lemon, egg, coconut milk and shea butter, you can easily search this up on google on how to make these remedies at home.

Thanks for reading and I hope that this helps you! Also please check out my YouTube and subscribe. New video on this coming out...

FOOD | How to make: Strawberry Waffle

Hey bloggers, I'm back with a food post! So someone asked me what my favourite desert is, well the answer to that question is STRAWBERRY WAFFLES. I love this desert so much that I even bought things from the supermarket to enjoy eating at home. So it's really simple to do all you need is...

Ingredients:
Waffles (you can find them in the supermarket, or even better make them fresh at home)
Vanilla Ice-cream
Nutella Chocolate (or any chocolate spread)
Fresh Strawberries

How to Make:
1. Get your waffle
2. Spread the Nutella on the waffle as if you're spreading butter on bread
3. Put 3 scoops of Ice-cream (or more) on top of the waffle
4. Then add on your strawberries everywhere
5. Melt some chocolate
6. Spread all over the ice-cream and strawberries

AND YOU'RE DONE!

Send in a picture of your waffle and strawberry, post on Instagram and hashtag #ohsnapitzaffydesert
Would love to see your pictures!

My Travel Experience!

Hey bloggers, I'm back with another post. A lot of you guys asked me about my travel experience since I upload a lot on the Middle East. I haven't been to many countries but I'd have to say that travelling to the Middle East is the best! I love travelling a lot like I wish that was my daily job...that's how much I love to travel, visiting new places and seeing different things amazes me so much.

Last year around July/August I got the chance to travel back to the Middle East with my family and we stayed over there for 2 whole weeks. I have to say travelling with my family is so much fun especially with my two uncles, they make the trip so lively and funny. First stop we went was to Doha however we only stayed there for a day so didn't really get to see much in Doha so next holiday I would love to go back there as we only saw Doha for literally 24 hours and well it was just so extravagant. I wouldn't say there's much difference between Dubai and Doha however I find Doha more hotter and more quiet which I like. The tradition in Doha is way stricter than Dubai which I personally like which is why Doha is my place.

So after Doha we started heading back to the airport to fly over to Dubai which only took less than an hour over the sea...It was amazing although we couldn't see much as it was dark but you could just tell that we were flying over the water and of course the map was there guiding us. After landing in Dubai I'd probably say it was 2 in the morning and well we was all knackered so after checking in we literally hit the bed. Dubai will always be my favourite place to travel, it will never get too old for me because the environment and scenery is absolutely beautiful.

Here are some pictures below!

Why I started blogging?

Hey bloggers, so today's post is a frequently asked question, I get asked this question all the time even from family and friends as to why I started blogging...?

Blog wasn't always something I liked doing, it was more just to promote my YouTube videos and stuff and so it wasn't really something I'd update on a daily base, however, I then started to post makeup related stuff and I saw that people enjoyed reading my posts and it kind of just went from there really. I started my YouTube 7 years ago (2010), so I also started blogging around that time too but then deleted all contents and posts on this blog and left my blog blank until recently I went back on my blog and saw that my blog went over 1,000 views which to me means a lot.

Blogging allows me to give my personal opinion and reviews about certain makeup products and other things as well such as 'How to cook', or 'How to make...', it allows me to share different stuff because everyone does things differently. I have many stories to share and for me, this is the best way of showing it to you guys.

I then created an Instagram where I can promote my Blog and YouTube as everyone is using Instagram for everything and the response I got from there made me want to do more and keep doing what I liked. It then became something I enjoyed doing in my spare time and I love doing reviews on products that I use and many people use too. My blog isn't as popular as any other bloggers, but the fact that people still view my blog keeps me going and it just motivates me even more and you never know I probably could one day be on the top 10 bloggers in the UK.

My family and friends also give me a lot of support in doing YouTube and also updating my Blog. If it wasn't for them and you guys I probably would've given up YouTube and blogging but I guess it's something that I like doing for you guys and I enjoy writing it up. Hopefully, in the future, you'll see a lot more things on my blog and YouTube but right now I'll probably just leave this as a hobby and something to do in my spare time. I would definitely like my own website one day where I could sell merchandise that you guys would enjoy buying. I just want to say thank you for viewing my blog and giving me the best feedback as this makes me so happy and want to post more. I have a lot more posts that are coming so make sure you watch out for it!

My Everyday Make-up Routine

Hey Bloggers! Today's post I will be sharing how I do my everyday makeup. Believe it or not, the amount of makeup that I wear cannot be compared to the amount of makeup other girls wear on a daily base, I actually don't wear that much makeup it's literally the main thing every girl would start their makeup off.

So first things first, I don't always prime my face but since I bought the Fenty primer I've been using it as I do tend to keep my makeup on for the whole day and since I have been using it, it's proven to have kept my makeup intact.

- Firstly, I Prime my face using Fenty Beauty Primer.
- Secondly, I apply the Fenty Beauty Foundation in the shade 310.

- After I've applied my foundation I conceal my face especially under my eyes as I have dark circles and I also apply concealer on the areas that are pigmented, this just makes my face look so much smoother.
- As my foundation/concealer is setting in I put on my false lashes, in this post I'm showing you my Huda Beauty lashes in Naomi, however, I don't always wear them lashes as I like to save them for special occasions instead I wear these mink lashes that I bought from eBay.

- After applying on my false lashes, I then apply my lipsticks. If you have read my posts previously then you'll know that I'm in love with the Inglot lipstick in shade 405 & 410. On top of this, I sometimes apply my NYX lip lingerie to give it a matte finish. I actually lost my favourite NYX lingerie ( shade: Seductive) so I use the another shade from NYX in the shade Cabaret show or I use Huda Beauty Liquid Matte in the colour Trophy Wife which gives me the same finish.

And that's literally my everyday makeup routine, It's not much but I like it that way. I think that looking 'simple' every day with not that much makeup is better than caking yourself up every day because when you dress up for special occasions you literally look no different then you do every day but I guess that's just in my opinion :)

Q&A♡ - ohsnapitzaffy

Hey bloggers! I feel like you guys enjoy me writing in more depth posts and well I enjoy writing it up for you to read so today's post will be based on a Q&A as I feel like you don't know me well enough and well I really want to post different things not just based on makeup. I was actually meant to do this post like months ago as I promised in my previous posts however I never got round to it so here it is. These questions I have made up myself and some you guys have asked previously, these questions and answers will literally tell you everything about me and what Ohsnapitzaffy is all about especially if you're new here and reading for the first time.

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

  1. How old are you? - 19 years old
  2. How tall are you? - 5 ft 8
  3. Where were you born? - London
  4. What's your hair colour? - Light brown/Blonde
  5. What's your shoe size? - 5.5/6 (UK)
  6. Do you have any siblings? - Yes, I have 2 sisters and 2 little brothers (I am the 2nd oldest)
  7. Favourite colour? - Navy Blue
  8. What colour are your eyes? - Brown
  9. Any piercings? - I have 3 piercings on my ears (1 on my helix)
  10. How many languages can you speak? - English, Bengali, French, & Arabic (NOT Fluently, basic stuff)
  11. What phone do you have? - iPhone 7 plus
  12. What is ohsnapitzaffy? - To be quite honest guys I actually dislike 'ohsnapitzaffy', I made this blog name when I was obsessed with Ariana Grande and if you know back then before she had the fame her YouTube channel was 'ohsnapitzari' therefore I changed my name to ohsnapitzaffy but it was actually better then what I had named my channel before you probably might have noticed it on my channel domain name 'EastSisterz12' LOL what was I thinking. But anyways I can't change ohsnapitzaffy as I've accumulated so much work onto that name and well yeah...I'm stuck with that now.
  13. Favourite songs? - ZAYN ft. Sia - Dusk Till Dawn, I love all Zack Knight songs
  14. Favourite films/shows? - Hitmans Bodyguard, Harry Potter & Spongebob SquarePants
  15. Nike/Adidas? - Nike
  16. Reasons why you started YouTube/Blog? - I started my YouTube channel 7 years ago! And the first video I uploaded was my little brother dancing to a Beyoncé song and that got so many views believe it or not so I thought I should continue uploading videos which then I started making lyric videos and that's how my channel got the recognition as they went over 1 million views which even I was shocked to see. My channel has received over 3 million views and for me, I found that so amazing however I still do wish to do more things and hopefully become one of those famous YouTubers. I started blogging as well because this enabled more people to see other things apart from lyric stuff so I started posting make up related stuff and got a good response from that also and since then I have loved putting stuff up on my blog as it's not only beneficial to me but also helps you guys too!
  17. Ever want to expand OSIA? - I have so many ideas that I wish to do however I feel that because there are so many people out there who are doing what I would love to do it wouldn't really work out with me as there are so many people out there bringing out merchandise and makeup products so for me I don't think it's possible yet, I'd rather just stick to what I like doing which is updating my blog every now and then, hopefully in the future some more upcoming content.
  18. Favourite quotes? - I really love HerBlankCanvas's quotes, what she writes I can relate to. All her work are my fave and you should defo check her out on Instagram (Click Here)
  19. Ever been in a physical fight? - I would be lying if I said No but I have, during college times which was like 2 years ago I got into a fight with a boy at first it was a verbal fight and then it got physical. If you know me well as a person I am not like that at all, I really hate people who act up and this really p****d me off like the words that were coming out my mouth wasn't enough to shut this boy up and then I went for it. That's all I'm going to say lol
  20. How are you as a person? - I don't like certain things so when people meet me for the first time they'd tell me that I look like a bitchy person and a very intimidating person but their opinion about me changed after they get to know me. I admit that I can be very bitchy but come on who isn't. Other than that I am a very nice and ongoing person, I just like to get along with everyone and not have any sort of beef.
  21. Where do you go when you're sad? - To be honest, I just like to be left alone, I sometimes go to a corner and let everything out. (I even put sad Bollywood music to help me cry more LOL). I am a very emotional person, I do have problems with my self-esteem and it makes me so paranoid about certain things and the way I let it out is by crying.
  22. How many countries have you visited? - France, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha & Bangladesh
  23. Favourite car? - BMW 4 series, 3 series, Volkswagen Golf GTD, GTI, R & Audi A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 & RS5
  24. Favourite makeup brand? - Fenty Beauty, Huda Beauty, NYX, Nars, MAC, LA Colours & Inglot
  25. Favourite perfumes? - Coco Chanel, Chanel Chance, Gucci Bamboo, Gucci Guilty, Michael Kors & Joop
  26. Ever won a contest? - No, I'm not that lucky tbh
  27. Do you have a team for your blog/ YouTube? - My team is basically my family and my account manager Lara who helps me and guides me in how to get and engage an audience for my channel. But other than that my family have always supported in what I do, they all like to get involved such as giving me ideas and just generally giving me that push into making YouTube videos and posting blogs which will be helpful to most people.
  28. Do you like travelling? - Yes, I love to travel, I think my whole family love travelling. The idea of getting on a plane and having a fun journey whilst getting to your destination is most probably the best thing about it, I would love to have that as a career.
  29. Where would you like to go next? - I really want to go back to Doha, the last time we visited Doha we only spent like 24 hours which to me isn't enough. I would also like to visit India as well.
  30. Who else would you want a Q&A from? - YOU!

Well now you know a little bit about me, I had so much fun writing this up hope you guys enjoyed reading this! Make sure you look out for my next post which will be an 'Everyday makeup routine'.

Thanks for reading!

October Favourites♡

Hey bloggers, I'm back with another favourites post! So this post will be a bit different to my other favourites as I won't be showing just my makeup products but also other things I've been loving and I would love to share it with you guys.

So first things first, let's talk about FOOD! Everyone is a food lover and so am I, so it's a shop called Lotus Leaf and it's a traditional Chinese street food and can I just say I'm in love with it...but let's give a little credit to my sister as if it wasn't for her then I don't think I would have even tried it out. You can find this shop in Westfield Stratford City (if you live in London) and I'm not sure about any other branches but you can defo search it up.  This dish just looks and tastes yummy, it's Crab & Meat Dumplings | Red Malaysian Curry with Jasmine Rice.

You all know how much I love my Inglot lipsticks. It's almost finished I think I will defo need to repurchase this again. If you haven't tried this lipstick then you should buy it esp for the girls who like a bit of nude and pink then this is the lipstick for you.

Recently I have been into henna, I've been practicing a lot and I think I have gone better at doing it. You can obviously tell that I love how it came it and you can purchase these henna cones at www.hennacones.co.uk or search them up on Instagram, trust me you won't be disappointed with the quality of it.

I also dyed my hair again, no more blonde hair. I dyed it back to my normal original brown, not sure I like it just yet as I've had my blonde hair for over a year so this sudden change will take a while to take in, however, I'm thinking to re-dye back to the lightest brown. The reason why I dyed it back to normal brown was so that I can restart my hair colour as it had ombre at the bottom so no matter how hard I try dying it to the light brown I wanted the yellowness wouldn't go so hence why I dyed it brown.

Rohingya Project 2017

Hey Bloggers. So today's post is a little different to the things I normally post and well I think that it's really important for me to help share and spread this out too as it will help these people a lot! If you may or may not have heard what is happening to the Rohingya Refugees of Burma then please make sure you continue reading this. It's traumatising to even watch the videos that everyone is sharing but this is happening right now to them and they are very helpless and it's our job as a Ummah, as a World to help people who are in need. I humbly request you to read the story below and donate as much as you can to help save these people. Please do not forget them as they are human beings as well, do not forget them in your prayers. "If only I could show you what I see through my eyes, your tears would fall uncontrollably. My heart aches and my mouth becomes dry with every story I hear... at times I have to close my eyes and question myself if all this is real, only to open my eyes again to find the horrifying answer before me. O Allah grant relief to these helpless servants of yours and deal with those who oppressed them with your divine justice. AMEEN!" - Umm Abdullah

The Story

Assalamu alaykum everyone. Myself and my wife (Umm Abdullah) have travelled out to spend this Eid of 2017 with the Rohingya refugees of Burma to hear some of their stories and start charitable projects to help improve their lives.

This project of ours was started before the crisis in late August and we saw the sudden rise of refugees crossing over the border. We started this page so you can all have the chance to be a part of this beautiful project to support the most needy amongst them with the intention of earning the pleasure of Allah while bringing some happiness to their dark and sad lives.

A bit of background information on the situation of the Muslim Rohingya Refugees...Burma has a total population of 52 Million, 90% of whom are Buddhist while Muslims make up only 4% (2 million).

With ignorance and prejudice being widespread, there have been constant reports of rape, torture, and murder in the most inhumane ways against the minority of Muslims along with many other human rights violations. Even some of the state police have been found to be involved in carrying out these crimes against them.  Amnesty International has labelled the Rohingya as "the most persecuted refugees in the world."

Individuals or groups of people who attempt to flee are either killed even before they leave or they are left stranded at the sea after being pushed away from the shores of neighbouring countries such as Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Many of those who do eventually reach the shore become victims of human trafficking and are sold. So our aim is to meet them offer emotional and mental support as well as food and shelter, for those people who have lost everything including their dignity, family and possessions. We can never imagine the trauma they had to go through while seeing a loved one being shredded to pieces or being burnt alive after witnessing the person being raped before their eyes.

Remember that when you help these people, you are actually helping yourself because every good deed that you do erases a previous sin of yours.

We will personally be distributing the funds and managing the charitable projects InshaAllah. You have two options of donating.
