Rohingya Project 2017

Hey Bloggers. So today's post is a little different to the things I normally post and well I think that it's really important for me to help share and spread this out too as it will help these people a lot! If you may or may not have heard what is happening to the Rohingya Refugees of Burma then please make sure you continue reading this. It's traumatising to even watch the videos that everyone is sharing but this is happening right now to them and they are very helpless and it's our job as a Ummah, as a World to help people who are in need. I humbly request you to read the story below and donate as much as you can to help save these people. Please do not forget them as they are human beings as well, do not forget them in your prayers. "If only I could show you what I see through my eyes, your tears would fall uncontrollably. My heart aches and my mouth becomes dry with every story I hear... at times I have to close my eyes and question myself if all this is real, only to open my eyes again to find the horrifying answer before me. O Allah grant relief to these helpless servants of yours and deal with those who oppressed them with your divine justice. AMEEN!" - Umm Abdullah

The Story

Assalamu alaykum everyone. Myself and my wife (Umm Abdullah) have travelled out to spend this Eid of 2017 with the Rohingya refugees of Burma to hear some of their stories and start charitable projects to help improve their lives.

This project of ours was started before the crisis in late August and we saw the sudden rise of refugees crossing over the border. We started this page so you can all have the chance to be a part of this beautiful project to support the most needy amongst them with the intention of earning the pleasure of Allah while bringing some happiness to their dark and sad lives.

A bit of background information on the situation of the Muslim Rohingya Refugees...Burma has a total population of 52 Million, 90% of whom are Buddhist while Muslims make up only 4% (2 million).

With ignorance and prejudice being widespread, there have been constant reports of rape, torture, and murder in the most inhumane ways against the minority of Muslims along with many other human rights violations. Even some of the state police have been found to be involved in carrying out these crimes against them.  Amnesty International has labelled the Rohingya as "the most persecuted refugees in the world."

Individuals or groups of people who attempt to flee are either killed even before they leave or they are left stranded at the sea after being pushed away from the shores of neighbouring countries such as Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Many of those who do eventually reach the shore become victims of human trafficking and are sold. So our aim is to meet them offer emotional and mental support as well as food and shelter, for those people who have lost everything including their dignity, family and possessions. We can never imagine the trauma they had to go through while seeing a loved one being shredded to pieces or being burnt alive after witnessing the person being raped before their eyes.

Remember that when you help these people, you are actually helping yourself because every good deed that you do erases a previous sin of yours.

We will personally be distributing the funds and managing the charitable projects InshaAllah. You have two options of donating.

September Favourites♡

Hey, bloggers! I noticed that in my posts I barely write much on it as my pictures show it all and well if you follow me on Instagram and/or Snapchat then you'll see a lot more in-depth content, however, I'll try to focus more on these posts as it will give you guys a lot more information than just a few pictures but anyways back to this month's favourites posts.

I'm back with another month's favourites. I only picked out 4 of my favourite things but don't worry I have A LOT more than this. But these are some of the things that I use daily and well I thought I'd share it with you guys since I love it so much! So obviously first thing is my perfumes, I'm totally obsessed with the Chanel Chance perfume it's like my absolute fave.

And obviously my new Fenty products by Rihanna. Honestly, guys, her foundation is so good (you can check my previous post for the full review), it literally covers every pigmentation and scars on my face and I would defo recommend this. I have so many lip products to show you but this post will probably go on for so long but if you'd like me to review some of my lip products then please do let me know and I'll do a full review about them and why I like it.

Last but not least another perfume that I had before unfortunately it is finished and haven't had time to purchase another one but this Victoria Secret perfume has a very soft but flowery smell but it's not too strong which makes it better as I don't like perfumes that have a very strong smell to it.

Fenty Beauty Review

Hey Bloggers, I am back with another post! So as you girls know Rihanna has finally launched her beauty line 'Fenty Beauty'. Yesterday my sister and I went and purchased our own foundation and also primer as we are all different skin colours we thought it'd be best to go to the store to match out the foundation to our skin colour. As I already had foundation on my face I could then tell how good the fenty foundation is compared to the foundation I had on my face which was No7.

The beauty advisor that helped me instantly told me that the colour matches with my skin tone and the foundation I had on had a grey undertone which made me look very pale. I could then tell the difference between the two foundations on my face and I could tell you that I am in love with this foundation!

The colour shades from LEFT to RIGHT - 310, 410, 420 and I also bought the Primer in Soft Matte, as it was recommended (especially if you wear foundation all day). The prices for these foundations isn't too bad in fact I think it's an alright price, it retails at £26 and the primer was also £26.

So I've tried the foundation on my face along with the primer and oh my god you can tell there is a difference between the foundation I used to use before. This foundation feels very light on my face as if I'm not wearing anything, it matches my skin colour and I can tell you now that I will be re purchasing this item again as I am in love with it. It is a very matte foundation and also because the primer is matte too, which means that it is long lasting and will last on your face for the whole day. Furthermore, if you are looking to buy a good foundation then this is the one for you girls, it has an intense full coverage like my scars literally got covered by it and you can barely see it, now that's what you call a 'full coverage' foundation!

The colour that I got is 310 and this is very light compared to sisters and mum however it's not pale light it's under the 'Tan Section', so not too light but not too dark so I'm literally in between the middle. You can purchase this from Harvey Nichols  but I would recommend if you're not sure what foundation colour you are then you should defo go in store and get your right foundation colour.
